I don't have a Wind, but I DO have a MSI X 320 which is sort of TECHNICALLY a netbook. Atom Z530 processor, 2G ram, no optical drive at all, Hi-Def (720) LCD at 13.1 inches (13.2 ? 13.4?) it's sweet, light, and works fan-freakin-tastic for me!

That windows 7 upgrade advisor says that it should install, but I have read that the drive controller and video may both have issues, so I am sticking with the Vista that came pre-installed, for now.

Can I install a second nic to feed a switch (not router) for my network somehow? I would like one of the NIC's to be fed the cable modem line with its 67.193.xxx.xxx IP address and get the second NIC to feed out 192. or 10. addresses.

Absolutely possibly. I have 2 nics in many of my machines to operate on different networks.

At my office, I have a Corporate network, and a guest network. I have one NIC on the Corporate network and another NIC on the guest network. It's simply just for testing (to make sure our guest network is operating for our customers). Most operatin systems are smart enough to accept and direct traffic through the proper interface.
