Have had vonage for 2-3 years now. Love it. Lots of features for 1 price. Said godbye to Bell Canada years ago and never looked back

I'm curious as to how well the service works..do you drop any calls and do you ever have problems with connectivity??

No dropped calls. Very clear. Never noticed the switch from Bell other than cheaper cost. Wife works retail so vonage offers a deal for retail employees. You get the full unlimited plan (worth 39.99) for the low price of 19.99. Can even set up 911 to your home address so it works.

Only down side is during a power failure or a lack of internet. I have my modem, router and vonage box plugged into a UPS so always has power. Just need internet. I use teksavvy.com so not a problem there either.

I can even send and receive faxes.

Vonage is a solid phone company and I highly recommend them if you want all the toys for 1 set price.

Vonage Report,
Well I have had Vonage for the past 3 months or so and I have to say, Up until now I was happy with it. Now I would not recommend it to anyone. I was finallyable to get ahold of a REAL person today after numerous emails. My phone cuts out real bad and it does drop calls. This has been going on for about 3 weeks now. Well after explaining the issues today this dingbat tells me that I have to get a laptop and bring it down to my vonage box because I am hooked to a desktop computer. She then says she also wants me to go and BUY another router because thas the issue but in the same breath she says that my cable modum could be the issue. Basically, I did nothing and told her to pound sand. I also called my credit union and told them no other payments will go to them. Screw Vonage... Time to Skype from filehippo....JMO
Regards,
Maddog

The only time I had trouble was when I bought a new router. It was a linksys WRT54GL. I had trouble with my vonage until I flashed my router with Tomato. Everything has worked and still is working fine. I never blamed Vonage, as it was all the fault of the router.

Well been a while on the Vonage scene... Before you hook up with them read the reviews. Theydid not provide a service I was paying for and I wanted to disconnect. Well bottom line was they tried to collect 159.00 in fees. Thank God I canceled the automatic checking before I tried to cancel. Took me numerous emails in which I saved every one of them stating they had not provided the service. I also filed a complaint with the BBB and the state Atty General. When I did that I recieved an email that my service was disconnected WITHOUT any cost. OMG what a bad service provider. Do your homework and read the reviews please.
