It was shut down. We had no control over it. The staff is still confused and working to find answers. Very dissapointed but hopefully at some point we will have some type of explanation to give members. Best I can do for now.

What happened to satnowinfo site

If I may add to what Diggin already said, it was shut down voluntarily for the best interest of the Members and the staff....we found the nearest exit and took it..others will be left holding a grenade soon.

I kinda figured it was all smoke and mirrors that satnow was "safe".
Satnow could have blown up had it continued running as it did.
Shutting down was proactive.

Glad I remembered this place. Been going through withdrawal since the shutdown. Didn't post much lately but always checked in to see if there was anything new. See a few familiar names here. That's a good thing. A new home and new topics. Now to jump back in.

Satnow was safe for the members..your identity was well protected, and that's all that mattered, what most people don't know is that DN has been granted the ability to combat piracy with any means they see fit to get results..Satnow didn't want to play the game, which has just begun.

NOT TRUE..they were an anti-IKS site and would of continued to be..problem is everything that was available to members over the last 4 years, has been taken into consideration by DN..we said in 2009 that 2010 would be a major problem for piracy, and we were right...they first went after the hardware and now the sites.

Not to beat a dead dog but Topwiz is right about the game / grenade, I've been hanging around testing sites for many years, and the ones with Mod's who truly knew what they were talking about have all shut down. I am glad Corman started this site (Big Thanks) as we all know the last year the site topics were anything but FTA, Glad to see this site is here as i think everyone agreed what made Satnow great was it's mods their broad knowledge on many topics (Other then FTA) and their respect for their members.
